HiGrade edging was used to redefine the landscape at the old King's Cross railway site.

With a timeless Corten steel finish, the planters reflect the site's railroad heritage. Only a few meters above the London underground, the shallow depth was a challenge for the landscape design. The raised level of the HiGrade helped to overcome this and allowed for the required depth of soil for the plants chosen.

The architect's vision also involved a stunning design with organic curves and shapes, which could have posed a problem when it came to installation. However, the HiGrade was pre-curved in the factory in the desired sections and when it came to site all the installer needed to do was to bolt each section together.
