The hugely popular show, now in its 100th year, attracts thousands of people to London and was held at new venue, Olympia this year, having been held at Earls Court for many years previously.

Now in its fifth year, Young Gardener of the Year Awards have helped over 300 students, create show gardens before they leave college including the winning design from Writtle. The design made particularly inventive usage of limited space, making the garden appear to be bigger than it actually is and it achieved this through a raised area by a water feature and a lower, sunken seating area.

The raised portion of the garden design was achieved using Raaft decking support pedestals which can be used to support any type of decking, timber or composite, as well as harder materials, such as Kinley’s new Atria porcelain tiles which are about to be launched, in 2.0cm thickness. VersiJack and SpiraPave Paving and Decking Support Pedestals are not only adjustable, high load bearing supports, but they are also gradient adjustable too.
